The internal surface of the tubing is coated with a heat-melt adhesive which melts around the object during shrinking, in order to protect it from any infiltration of water or humidity. The high shrink ratio makes this tubing suitable for protecting particularly irregular objects due to its high dimensional differences. It is ideal for all applications in which a high degree of protection is necessary.
